History

As of October 28, 2009 the Discovery Channel have signed up to Nielsen Media Research Ireland^[2]. Discovery Networks Europe will record data in relation the amount of viewers that actually watch the Discovery Channel in Ireland.

As of January 1, 2009, Sky Media Ireland operates Discovery Channel Ireland's output in terms of advertising, sponsorship and scheduling^[3].
